+**Annotation** : Composer Mike Curtis has written many works showcasing his knowledge of the
+genre of klezmer. This collection of ten duos presents the various dance styles utilized
+traditionally in the style such as doina, freylach, tanz, and bulgar. Each duo has written basic
+ornaments such as trills and grace notes, but the composer encourages performers to learn to add
+the other fundamental ornaments of klezmer music in their performances. As such, this
+collection can be used as a teaching utility for klezmer music in general. The range of the duos to
+E4 , but in frequently in klezmer, the second occurrence of melodic material should be raised an
+octave. This will require a wider range, but isn’t required in the performance of the duos, it is
 +merely a performance practice suggestion.
