+**Annotation** : Vincent Persichetti is well-known for his works for band, and the clarinet writing in this piece is very similar to those works. Each of the seven movements utilizes a different time signature and mood, and with other work by Persichetti, the various articulation markings that are present present challenging in matching and differentiating between parts.
