 +**Annotation** : Hungarian born composer Jenö Takács wrote several works that included this 
 +clarinet including this quartet for four Bb clarinets. The work’s two movements are written in 
 +two very different moods: movement 1 is a pastorale and movement 2 is a musical evocation of 
 +bagpipes. The writing is substantially individualistic, but the range never exceeds F#4. There are 
 +frequent tempo and metrics shifts which will create an additional challenge for ensembles.
