 **Annotation** : One of the few duos written specifically for Bb and Bass Clarinets, this Duo Sonata by Schuler is intended for professional level players, both technically and musically. Though the work doesn’t explore extended techniques as others composed during this time do, it makes up for that through its complex rhythms and challenging interwoven parts. Both the Bb and bass clarinet utilize the range of the instruments to F4.
