+**Annotation** : The original version of this duo was for two basset horns, as indicated by the title.
+As such, there are passages in which the original range extended beyond the capacity of the Bb
+clarinet. These passages are present in the score, but the editors have added an ossia part that is
+within the range of the Bb clarinet. This duo is very similar to other works from this time in style
+and melodic content. The editor took the liberty of adding suggested articulation markings that
+were not present in the original as well.
