-**Annotation** : Danza Latino di Maria del Real is the final work in the set of 3 Latin Dances by
-Patrick Hiketick. The work is longer than the other two in the collection and the most difficult.
-Hiketick extends the range of the Bb clarinet to A 4 and employs frequent sections of hocketing
-between the players. There are also consistent passages of offbeats, which can prove to be
-difficult for players with weak internal rhythm. As with the Merengue , this movement is quite
-challenging for the second clarinetist. In addition to its being in bass clef and extending to C 1 , the
-bass clarinet part features an extended solo that consists of fast repeated triplets that span the
-entire range of the instrument.
