Annotation : Each of the five movements in this work by well-known band composer Fisher Tull presents a unique character and compositional technique. Movement III. Reflection is particularly interesting as the composer mirrors the first clarinet part in the second clarinet part by inverting the intervals for most of the movement. Movement IV. Recitative emulates the operatic recitative tradition, utilizing ametric writing.
