Annotation : A Klezmer Wedding presents traditional klezmer dance forms (Doina, Hora, Chusdil, and Freylach) together in a compact work. This piece can be used to teach klezmer style, including ornamentation and melodic and harmonic content. The range extends to G 4 and the work has several passages that are written in the altissimo register. There are solo passages for all three Bb clarinet parts, primarily in the Doina, which will require players to work on handoffs and ensemble communication.
