Annotation : This popular work by Daniel Dorff is frequently performed as a work for clarinet choir, as it has several solo passages. The work has a jazz-inspired feel to it and as such, uses frequent syncopated rhythms. The range is almost entirely below F 3 for all parts, allowing younger students to be challenged through the more complex rhythms without having to worry about learning new notes on top of that. This work is scored a grade III primarily due to its heavy use of accidentals and its more complex rhythms.
