Grade V – Grade V works begin to extend the range beyond G 4 for all instruments. All parts should have several passages of solos as well as passage work that will require individual practice. These work can also include basic extended techniques. Additionally, bass clarinet parts may include notes that extend below the playable range of student instruments.
