Annotation : Written by the lesser-known brother of operatic composer Gaetano Donizetti, this duo is intended for two equal players. The work is composed in Italian lyric style and it is clear from the writing that the composer understood the clarinet and its capabilities well. The range of this duo extends to F4 .
