Annotation : Early works for clarinet are accessible to younger players, but works like this Duo offer an opportunity to teach students about the history of the instrument. This work is focused primarily in the chalumeau range, which is indicative of the instrument for which it was written. The melodic and harmonic content also offers many opportunities to address intonation and tone production with younger students.
