Annotation: Throughcomposed, this trio by Hummel is a nice introductory work for a young ensemble. Though there are passages of independence for each part, there are equally as many passages in which the three players play in the same line apart by thirds. This work would be a great preface to learning Bouffil Trios or Mozart Divertimenti.
