**Annotation**: Though it doesn’t appear challenging when examining the score, the short work for
clarinet trio is brisk and requires great technical facility. The range is quite expansive, going to
A 6 in the first clarinet part. One of the more challenging aspects of the work is the handoffs
between parts. The tempo is quick, marked dotted quarternote 92, and many of the handoffs
occur during fast technical passages with varying dynamic markings.
