**Annotation** : Composer Paul Harvey has written many works for the clarinet, including this
quartet. Written in four movements, this piece is substantial in length and challenges all four
players with its technical writing and intonation. Each player has exposed solo passages in each
of the movements. The range of the bass clarinet extends to C 1 and the Bb clarinet extends to G4 .
