**Annotation** : This simple work for quartet places the majority of the technical challenges in the
outer parts. The range extends into the altissimo register but for only a few notes in the first
clarinet part. Walker gives each player brief solos, adding to the value of the work for young
ensembles. These small solos will help young students become more accustomed to playing on
their own while not overwhelming them.
