This quartet, as with all of the works by Michael Kibbe, is approachable and introduces the style without overwhelming the ensemble. The forms, melodies, and harmonies are idiomatic making the work an excellent teaching utility for the klezmer style. Overall, the range and technical demands though not extremely difficult will require the ensemble to work hard on both individual parts and group mechanics. ---- {{:kibbe_klezmer_memories.png?nolink|}}
