**Grade IV** -- Grade IV works are the first works to incorporate the Eb clarinet. Additionally, the ranges
of the Bb/A clarinet is pushed into the altissimo range up to F 4 . The technical demands of the
work should require students to practice passage work, and the musical demands will require
ensembles to rehearse many intricacies.
